CPIM Basics of Supply Chain Management - 9-10 wk Format - Boulder, Broomfield, Longmont, Metro Area – BSCM

An 9-10 week exam preparation course for the CPIM module on the Basics of Supply Chain Management Ft Collins/Loveland. The course will run from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Basics of Supply Chain Management

Part 1 of the new CPIM reconfigured CPIM.  Successfully completing this module WILL count towards the new CPIM in the future for up to 3 years.  Participants explore the basic concepts in managing the flow of materials in a supply chain. Topics include:

Elements of the Supply Chain
Demand Planning
Master Planning
Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP)
Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II)
Just-in-Time Manufacturing (JIT)
Total Quality Management (TQM)
Physical Distribution

This course meets for 3 hours 1 evening each of 9 weeks plus a free optional reivew night at the end.  There is a break between modules allowing for participants to sit for exams.  Participants should plan on investing approximately 1-2 times the number of class hours in reading and outside class study time depending on experience and background.

This Basics class WILL count towards the future APICS reconfigured CPIM as long as you complete your CPIM within 3 years from the start.

Course materials include the Course Participant Guide, Exam Content Manual, Exam, and Textbook, free supplemental materials & access to the CPIM online study tools.  Final class details will be emailed just prior the start date with location specifics etc.
