Creating Sustainable Organizations

The Certified Lean Master program provides a complete package of education, application, and coaching for those seeking to create a sustainable organization.

Many projects have helped participating organizations reduce costs in the range of $50K to $100K. Other projects have improved service and increased revenue.


Course Highlights

  • Attend three educational sessions of three days each with a four week break between sessions.
  • Work on a lean project to improve one value stream at your organization, create quantifiable improvements, and begin seeing immediate results.
  • Leverage a package of online tools that includes quizzes, templates, articles, samples, and presentations.
  • Receive coaching from your instructors at every step along the journey.
  • Take a certification exam and have the opportunity to earn personal recognition as a Certified Lean Master.
  • Join the local lean community and begin taking a leadership role.

3 * 3 = 9 Days of Education

There are 3 sessions of 3 days providing 9 days of classroom instruction and coaching:

  • Session A: Crafting a lean project, developing a project charter, and mapping the current state.
  • Session B: Creating flow, leveraging pull, and mapping the future state.
  • Session C: Closing the gaps, seeking perfection, and taking the CLM exam.

During the breaks between sessions, participants work on their lean projects and have access to instructors and a package of online tools.

Certification from ISCEA

The International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) is the governing body for the Certified Lean Master designation.

ISCEA promotes workshops to improve the knowledge of worldwide manufacturing and service industry professionals and is the developer of internationally recognized programs such as:
